Deamon que coleta informações da maquina, Coleta e salva mais coisas que o sar. Salva em arquivos de log.

O collectd utiliza plugins para capturar informações de monitotamento do sistema.

As configuração do collectd fica em /var/lib/collectd

rrd significa Round Robin database e são arquivos binários
